twenty years in the music industry. A singer, songwriter, and producer, he has created
sounds for countless artists with his masterful fusion of gospel, R & B, pop, soul and hip-
hop.
Moving to Chicago at the age of nineteen, he served as the Minister of Music of Bethel
Apostolic Church for fourteen years. During that time, he published his first song,
*Worthy of All the Praise* in 1989. On the heels of that success, he went on to write for
artists Keith Staten of Commissioned, Cedric Ford, Michael Speaks, Kim Stratton, Light of
Love, Dan Willis, Rev. Milton Brunson, MC Hammer & Common Unity, and Douglas Miller.
Eddie has also worked with such artists as Montell Jordan, Tia & Tamara Mowry, Kim
Burrell, R. Kelly, Clifton Davis, Angelo & Veronica, Commissioned, Kierra Sheard, Trina
Braxton and Juanita Bynum. He served as the Music Director for the hit stage production
*Rise*, written by famed rap duo Kid and Play and Salt (of Salt and Pepa) and they will be
releasing a cast CD in 2005. He gives back to the community through the Joshua Project,
a foundation he formed to teach inner city children the tools of success through the
business side of the music industry.
In 2004 Eddie became the Musical Director for the Christian reality television show
“Inspiration Sensation”. He led the band through over one hundred songs in the course
of ten weeks of live television and has returned for the second season as both an
audition judge and Musical Director.
Most recently Eddie has partnered with Dan Willis to create Asoné Sound Music Group,
an independent record label with will also feature Eddie’s own solo debut. After years of
